Unopened items in new condition may be returned for the original form of payment within 30 days of original purchase date if accompanied with original receipt. Items returned after 30 days and prior to 90 days will be issued an in-store credit for the amount paid.  Items returned without the original receipt are eligible to receive in-store credit at the lowest selling price of the item.  We require a valid driver's license or government issued photo identification for non-receipted items.  We reserve the right to deny any return for any reason at any time.


Return exceptions include:


  • Original purchases made with a check; a refund will be issued in the form of an in-store credit when the receipt is less than 10 days old.  A cash refund will be issued if the receipt is over 10 days old.
  • A check will be issued from our Home Office for all cash & check returns exceeding $200.00 (Allow 2-3 weeks processing).
  • Original purchases made with a Credit or Debit card that is no longer active will receive an in-store credit or the Home Office may issue a check (Allow 2-3 weeks processing).
  • Delivery fees are non-refundable.
  • Items returned using a gift receipt will receive an in-store credit.
  • Price adjustments within 7 days will be honored (exception of clearance items).
  • Special orders are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
  • Manufacturer warranties are handled by the customer directly with the manufacturer.

Live Plants:

Plant material in good health may be returned within 7 days of the original purchase date.

Seasonal / Holiday:

Seasonal / Holiday merchandise must be returned within 30 days of purchase and before the holiday.


"Clearance" / "AS IS" items marked with a yellow or green price sticker are considered final sale.

Custom Arrangements:

Custom arrangements are considered final sale and are not eligible for refund or exchange.  Our design department may rework the arrangement to meet your satisfaction for additional cost.

Online Purchases:

Most products can be returned in new condition with the original packaging including any accessories, manuals and parts along with your online receipt.  Returns must be made within 45 days of receipt of purchase. Returns may be made to your local Stein's location. Credit is issued to the Credit Card used to complete the online purchase.  Customers should bring the credit card used for purchase, a Driver's license or government issued photo identification and receipt or shipping confirmation email.  If the credit card has expired, a store credit or check will be issued.  Shipping or Delivery fees are not refundable.  If product needs to be picked up by delivery team, a pick up fee will be assessed.




  • Home Delivered Grills and Boxed Patio Sets:  In the case of damaged or defective, delivery fees may be refunded.  Steins should be notifiied of damaged product within 3 days of delivery.
  • Parcel deliveries outside of the Stein's store network:  Please contact Stein's at for shipping instructions.  Customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the return.
  • Clearance items sold online are considered final.
  • Any food items such as cooking sauces and rubs are not returnable.
  • Price adjustments within 7 days of delivery require notification to
  • Manufacturer warranties are handled by the customer directly with the manufacturer.
